If you are using a vaporizer that offers the balloon method for inhaling you have the ability to store the vapor before you inhale it. The amount of time it can be stored will vary but usually you can get a rough idea. It’s also important to know that the quality of the vapor will weaken as time goes on.
THC Concentration
THC and other active ingredients in the balloon will not hold the same strength as time progresses. This is because over time the THC and active ingredients end up locating onto the inner area of the vaporizer and/or balloon. The amount of THC you lose may not be noticed if it’s only a few minutes waited before inhaling. If you wait for an hour or two the amount of THC or active ingredients lost from the vapor could be up to half.
The best thing to do is make sure you plan on inhaling the vapor right away. If you’re going to use the balloon to store the vapor it’s important to know you should inhale it within 10-15 minutes so it doesn’t weaken in potency. The best way overall to use the vaporizer would be to immediately inhale the vapor but if you need a little break and have your balloon filled it shouldn’t be a problem.
