There are a lot of special features that may be included with certain vaporizers. Some units will only have the basic needed features to operate properly but others are created fancily to be more appealing but not necessarily a better machine. Don’t judge your purchase on the extra features the vaporiser comes with.
Portable Vaporizers
Smaller machines that can be brought with you in your pocket or in a backpack without raising suspicion would be considered portable vaporizers. Usually these have the option to be charged beforehand or powered by batteries instead of needing electricity.
Temperature Adjustment
This is almost a staple with decent quality vaporizers that use the convection or conduction method now. The temperature adjustment is either controlled with a dial or buttons. You will be able to set the temperature you wish the vaporizer to heat up to. The accuracy in most units is reliable and is only an offset of a few degrees usually.
Digital Temperature Control
This feature allows you to see the temperature that the vaporiser is currently at and the temperature you have set for it to reach on a digital screen.
Auto Turn Off
This is a great feature to have if you’re using the vapouriser primarily for marijuana. After the vaporizer hasn’t been used for a period of time the machine will turn off by itself. There’s a chance you end up using too much vapor and forget to turn it off so having this feature can help keep your vaporizer from aging and wasting energy.
Balloons
This is an inhaling method which has other benefits as well. Once the vapor gets into the balloons it will start to cool down. You can carry the balloon around and you don’t have to be at the vaporizer to inhale the vapor. The most popular unit to use this method would be the Volcano Vaporizers.
There are other fancy features that can be available like LCD screens and LED lights but they obviously don’t affect the performance of the machine. Judge the reliability, accuracy, and dependability of the unit before deciding whether to purchase it or not.
