A portable glass vaporizer works a bit different then a full size vaporizer. There are various models available that have become popular. When using a portable vaporizer you will need to use a butane gas lighter as a heat source. If you use certain types of lighters it could cause the glass to blacken. The lighter will heat up the vaporizer and heat the marijuana so it turns to vapor. The marijuana vapor from portable glass vaporizers is safe to inhale and is just as good as it would be if you were using a normal sized vaporizer.
